ADA Ramp Installation for Commercial Entry – DeLand, FL
BuildLux was contracted to design and install an ADA-accessible ramp to bring a commercial storefront into full compliance with accessibility codes. The project required precision grading, custom formwork, and a strong, durable concrete base designed for heavy daily use. Our team coordinated the entire process, from layout to railing fabrication, ensuring safety and durability.
Scope of Work
The work included demolition of the existing concrete pad, excavation, and installation of reinforced steel rebar to strengthen the new structure. After forming and pouring the ramp, BuildLux installed protective bollards, fabricated and welded a custom steel handrail system, and refinished surrounding areas for a clean, integrated look. All components were built to ADA specifications, ensuring safe and compliant access for all users.
“The DeLand ADA ramp project reflects our commitment to accessibility, quality, and long-lasting results. Every element—from the rebar pattern to the railing welds—was executed with precision to meet both safety standards and client expectations.”
Precision in Every Detail
Every stage of this project was planned to achieve exact slope tolerances and long-term performance. The finished surface was smooth-troweled for safety and coated to prevent premature wear. Coordination between the concrete and metalwork teams allowed for seamless installation of railings and protective barriers without disrupting business operations.
